51 year old woman, 5’4”, 165 lbs., breast cancer survivor, breast reconstruction, Orange County, Ca

This patient was diagnosed with breast cancer 18 years before; she had mastectomy on her right breast with breast implants and a lift on the left breast for symmetry. After this surgery her right breast never felt natural or soft. Later her right breast had contracted; she had Baker’s Grade 4 Capsular Contracture. For this surgery she had an extensive breast reconstruction revision on the right breast with removal of the original implant, revision of the capsules, suture fixation, and placement of Allergan style 15 smooth gel 492 cc implants. She also had a full mastopexy breast lift revision on her left breast. These photos were taken 1 year after her surgery, her breasts felt soft and at this point she is a candidate for a star flap nipple reconstruction or areola tattooing.
